The Fort Lauderdale Diving Team is the premiere springboard and platform diving team in Florida. In 2007, the Men’s Senior Team placed 3rd at the National Championships placing higher than any team in the state. We also had divers attend the Speedo Junior National Championships where the Fort Lauderdale Diving Team was ranked 2nd in South Florida and the highest diving team in Broward County. Dave Burgering, the Director of Diving and Head Coach, brings with him 22 years of coaching experience and a great coaching and diving resume. Please visit the about page and look up our staff. Dave was also a member of the 1980 USA Olympic Diving Team. Currently Dave is the Chairman of the Board for USA Diving, the National Governing Body for the sport of diving as designated by the United States Olympic Committee. Besides the diving team, we offer; group lessons private lessons winter, spring, and summer day camps team visiting the south Florida area the opportunity to train with one of our coaches, or rent the facility pool and birthday parties Please enjoy the pages that follow and we hope to see you on the pool deck.
